Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Residential Staff, providing essential care and support for adults with disabilities. As a Residential Staff member, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and inclusive living environment, fostering independence and promoting a high quality of life for individuals in our care.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Living Assistance: Assist individuals with disabilities in activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, toileting, and eating.
• Medication Management: Ensure the proper dispensing and documentation of medications in accordance with company policy, prioritizing the health and well-being of residents.
• Person-Centered Care: Implement the Person-Centered Support Plan (PCSP) and other relevant plans to provide individualized care that aligns with the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including incident reports, behavioral intervention forms, illness injury reports, PRN and money counts, and daily documentation.
• Environmental Care: Create and maintain a clean and safe living space, addressing safety concerns and implementing environmental controls.
• Crisis Intervention: Utilize the non-violent crisis intervention plan as needed to address challenging situations and maintain a secure residential environment.
• Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility in working with a diverse group of residents and adapting to their individual preferences and needs.
• Engagement: Actively engage residents in various activities, fostering a sense of community, inclusion, and well-being.
• Transportation (based on eligibility): Provide transportation for residents to community activities and appointments outside of the residential setting.
• Confidentiality: Uphold strict confidentiality at all times, respecting the privacy and dignity of each resident.
• Policy Adherence: Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring a consistent standard of care and professionalism.
• Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to contribute to the overall welfare of the residents and the success of the residential program.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Successful clearance of background study as specified by licensing agencies.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company policy (based on eligibility).
• Willingness to obtain necessary requirements, including CPR/First Aid certification.
• Previous experience in residential care or disability services is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
